Avalon Waterways Reveals Plans for 2 More Suite Ships!

 LITTLETON, Colorado – February 5, 2013 – Cruising with Avalon Waterways will become an even more “suite” experience in 2015.   Thanks to the overwhelming response Avalon’s Suites Ships^sm have received, next year the river cruise ship company will unveil two (2) additional award-winning Suite Ships: The Avalon Tranquility II and Avalon Tapestry II.

The addition of these ships, plus three (3) new Suite Ships scheduled to be unveiled this spring (Avalon Impression and Avalon Poetry II – March; Avalon Illumination – June), will bring the fleet’s Suite Ship total to 10! As a result, in 2015, 66 percent (66%) of Avalon’s European fleet will be Suite Ships.

 Each suite on all 10 Suite Ships features the industry’s only Open-Air Balcony®, providing travelers a combination of the largest windows available with a sliding glass door that opens wide at 7-feet, plus a spacious seating area. With a focus on bringing the beauty of Europe inside, Avalon’s Open-Air Balconies can be enjoyed any hour of the day, year round, adding considerable comfort to the overall guest experience without taking space away from the room.

No other European river cruise line can say this.”
