Avalon Waterways has launched its new 36-passenger Suite Ship on the Mekong River, the river cruise line’s first Suite Ship in Asia.
The Avalon Siem Reap was built in partnership with Haimark Travel and features 18 suites with 245 square feet of living space, as well as Avalon’s signature floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall panoramic sliding glass doors that when opened are transformed into a French balcony.

The suites also have a sitting area, and Comfort Collection Beds, Avalon’s bedding program that includes a choice of pillows, orthopedic mattresses, and European-style duvets.
“This Suite Ship mirrors the experience found on our Suite Ships in Europe,” said Avalon Managing Director Patrick Clark.
The Avalon Siem Reap also has an open-air observation deck, library, fitness center, indoor lounge and spa treatment room.
The vessel sails from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Siem Reap, Cambodia (or the reverse). The 12-night Fascinating Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong River itinerary from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap starts at $3,769 per person, based on double occupancy. Avalon offers numerous regional extensions.
