Spring has almost sprung, and in Holland, the tulips are in full bloom! It’s one of our favorite times of the year! Annually, the tulip season lasts from the end of March to the middle of May, with mid-April being the best time to see the tulips in bloom. If you’re going to visit Holland during the spring, make sure to bring a camera to capture the tulip’s colorful blooming beauty.
Keukenhof Gardens is home to vibrant gardens with the world’s largest bulb flower park (more than 7 million bulbs to be exact). A cruise along the Rhine River is one the best ways to visit Holland, and you can even book a river cruise that includes a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens! It has over 70 acres of parkland with lakes, sculpture gardens, greenhouses, and a windmill to explore. Drink in the spectacular display of colors from the tulips, daffodils, crocuses, and more.
We’ve gathered photos from our cruisers to inspire you to go see the vivid Keukenhof Gardens — or to make you even more eager to go if you’ve already booked a cruise to see tulips! Take a look, and make sure to share yours on Facebook and let us know if we can add them to our gallery.
